That Story
Our love for hospitality was first personified through the creation of the Tinderbox Kitchen in 2009. When its popularity began to take on a momentum of its own, it became clear that we would need to expand our operations. That's when we "annexed" the property directly to the south, creating a cocktail lounge and impromptu waiting area. Low and behold, the Annex Cocktail Lounge came into its own as the best cocktail lounge in the city, and further expansion became necessary. The condemned and historic tourist home building on the corner became our next focus. So we built the Tourist Home Cafe, a scratch breakfast & lunch restaurant. Over the course of our history, we have had one constant; adaptability.
We are now bringing that adaptability to new concepts, and innovating every step of the way. Every THAT Place concept is unique, but imbued with our core commitment to excellence, integrity, and community improvement.
We carry these ideals with us into a bright and open future.
