For Auld Lang Syne

Today, we say good-bye to 2019 and hello to 2020. The celebration of New Year's Eve brings heartfelt wishes of hope for peace, happy times, and of course, success.

Traditionally we celebrate with champagne toasts, hugs, kisses, and that old song, sung in unison, of which we barely remember the words or know the exact meaning, but, we sing it, and that's good because it charges us up for what's to come while paying homage to what was.

For Auld Lang Syne was originally an old Scottish poem, later set to music that translates to, "times gone by." It's a song acknowledging kinship, remembering good times, and toasting the future. It's appropriate because when we can appreciate the past, accept it, learn from it, and thereby make significant decisions about our future.

We have so much to be grateful for over the last year. As a team, we have grown together and worked to be the best that we can be for our customers, our teammates, and ourselves. We celebrate creativity and institute inventive yet approachable ideas. We watch, listen, and learn, so our dishes, service, and cocktails exceed your expectations. With that, we hope to gain an understanding of you, your needs, and your wants. It's about creating a dining experience, allowing you to escape reality if only for a moment, to create an experience that you remember and relive.

As a result, in 2019, our passion gave birth to a new set of standards that we proudly execute and are neatly defined in our Mission Statement.

THAT PLACE PROJECTS is much more than a restaurant group. We are creative innovators seeking joy in the journey of providing an extraordinary experience to our guests. We are built on passionate beliefs and are committed to uplifting others and the genuine care of ourselves, our co-workers, our customers, and the business.

We are proud of 2019. It was an extraordinary year, one that caused a significant shift in our future. We learned from our customers and our team, which gave rise to bright opportunities for 2020. (Want a little hint? We'll have something new for you, Flagstaff, and hello Downtown Prescott!)

So, we toast you; we thank you for the memories, we thank you for the opportunity to take care of you and share with you what we have created. For Auld Lang Syne and a very Happy New Year!
